All right. I think everybody has gone home.

I've now un-restricted this blog. Not that anyone was reading it who had any real interest in what I'm trying to do here, which was kind of the point of restricting access.

So. Now anyone can come along and see what I'm doing here again. Not that anybody realy will, likely, which is fine. I'm just happy to put the option back out there.

What am I doing? Well.. I'm figuring it out as I go along. I don't intend to grow old and die in Singapore. I don't particularly want to go back to Texas for the rest of my life. And I have a deep, worrying feeling that the world is in a downward spiral.

When I started this blog, I had sort of a Utopian view of what could come out of Detroit, if people wanted it enough. But over the last year, my belief in what is possible in Detroit has eroded. Or maybe what it would be possible for me to do in Detroit. In practical terms, there's no difference. I'm still holding on to that sketch of the future, but it's one of several possibilities now.

In any case, for anyone looking for links to find inexpensive property (land and housing) in Michigan and beyond, or for general links regarding various aspects of self sufficiency, just take a gander at the links to the right.

Cheers,

Mike

When we hire a property management service, they make use of sophisticated dealings and deal in risky areas such as lease-related formalities, and asset evaluation. Thus, the landlords or the developers do not bother much even if they have to shell out little extra fees for hiring quality property professionals.
